I had bad luck and caused an accident. Unfortunately, my fault there is no doubt. Can I avoid a long and wstydliwego process? I heard that, as in the U.S. can agree on the punishment of a prosecutor. Is this true?
A similar possibility exists in the Polish law. Until the end of the first hearing of all the defendants at the hearing the accused, who alleged offense (the offense with the lower limit of the penalty of less than three years) may make an application for a criminal conviction and his administration set out the penalties (or measure) without going into evidence.
The court may consider such a request if the circumstances to commit the crime does not call into question (which in practice means an admission of guilt of the accused and to be expected by the court hearing). Inclusion of such a request is possible only if it does not oppose the prosecutor ago, and the victim (ie an accident victim or the owner of the damaged vehicle).
